New Nine Inch Nails Coming in September (Video)

There’s new music from Nine Inch Nails. Just when we thought Trent Reznor was content making award-winning soundtracks and music with his wife through How to Destroy Angels, he revives the band.

Not that we’re complaining, mind you – NIN will release a new album on Columbia in September (also going against the successful formula Reznor used to take the ugly out of the music business by releasing NIN music himself). New label, new band lineup, new direction. NIN is back.

The first single, Came Back Haunted, was released last week. When Reznor posted the track to Soundcloud, reaction was mostly positive. The most interesting description from a listener of the new sound being “it sounds like Kraftwerk and Daft Punk had an angry emo baby”.
